Part 2
It has been a long time since I posted last, about our wonderful airplane ride... well I have to tell you about the second half of that trip. Our flight left La Guardia airport at 7:30, so we had to be at the airport at 5:30. Getting into the city was fine, no traffic that early. Once we got there, the line just to check in was HUGE. We waited in that line for almost an hour. Then we went through security and barely made it to our flight. Once we got on, we were informed that the flight was delayed because they were having trouble loading the bags. (RETARDED) We finally took off, about 20 minutes late. We had a layover in Houston and by the time we got there, we were getting a little nervous about making our connecting flight. We hurried off the plane and ran (Amazing Race style) to the terminal. As we got there, they were shutting the doors. We asked what we should do, when the next flight was and they told us to run to another terminal. Again, we ran (picture this.... I'm wearing slippers, pulling a bag, holding a bag, and a purse and my boots... I looked so silly!) We got the next terminal and they told us that we were supposed to get on a waiting list, and by now we were 15th on the list. No way we were going to make it! We decided to take a break and go get some food. After we ate, we went to customer service to find out what the next step was. There were 2 more flights that day to SLC and we were on the list for both. The only time we could get a confirmed flight was at 11 am the next day! We got some food vouchers (luckily) and saved those for dinner. We didn't make the next flight so our next option was at 6 pm. We waited in the terminal for the 6 flight and it was delayed til 10. At the last minute, they changed terminal and we ran! We were first in line and they told us this flight is over booked so run back to where you came from and get on that flight. We finally got on a flight at 11 that night! 12 hours in the Houston airport was way too long! Good thing we had Jack Bower to entertain us!

Christmas Trees!
My family has a tradition of going in the mountains the day after Thanksgiving and cutting down a Christmas tree. This year we were lucky enough to have LOTS of snow and it was fun! It was cold, but fun. Here are some pics from that... (yes, Jeff is sledding with my 7 year old cousin. He went down once and said it was too much work to walk back up!)

Baby sister
My baby sister (who is technically 6 now) was in the hospital over the weekend! :( It broke my heart. On Thursday at school she was playing on the flippy bars and fell off. She immediately stood up, no tears, and went and told the duty that her arm hurt. The duty took one look at her arm and said she needed to go to the office and call her mom. The bone had snapped in half above her elbow and was sticking out causing a bump in her skin. My mom took her to the doctor who sent her to primary childrens hospital. There they took x-rays and decided to do surgery and put pins in her arm. My sister has 4 pins in her arm holding the bone together . She has done so well and did cry once during the whole ordeal. I can't even imagine being a mom and watching your baby go through something like this... it killed me and she is only my sister!

Hola,
I am officially the busiest person alive! I am now working 2 jobs, going to school, and trying to be a good wife! Its crazy. I got a new job this week working with my aunt as an aide in her 3rd grade classroom. It will be way fun, but I am going to be gone all day... everyday. And its in Draper, so I have a cummute. (For example, I was in the car for nearly 3 hours yesterday between all the driving I had to do.. from the new job to class to home to my other job.) I am also working at the Alpine School District as a preschool teacher for the Family Literacy Center, 3 nights a week. Its way fun, the kids are hilarious, but it means I don't see my husband from 4:30 am (thats when he works) til 9 pm some days. LONG days! But other than that we are doing good. We are going to two sessions of conference this weekend and a misison reunion for the Seattle Washiongton misison. I'm pretty excited and hopefully I will have pictures to post next week.
Until then....
Get excited to hear the words of the Prophet and Apostles!
